Anupamaa TV serial twist: After the show took a leap of six months, Aadhya disappeared from Anu and Anuj Kapadia's lives. Before the leap, she informed her father Anuj that she is going far away from him and he is free to reunite with Anu. But as he ran to stop Aadhya, he met with an accident. The show then took the leap. Anu who was waiting for Anuj is now in an old age home. She is taking care of the senior citizens who are homeless. Anuj is completely shocked and shattered with Aadhya's disappearance. In today's episode fans got a flashback of what exactly happened post Anuj's accident.

In the show Anupamaa, the flashback shows that Anuj Kapadia (Gaurav Khanna) is in the hospital. He has suffered injuries post the accident. As he gains consciousness, Anuj enquires about Aadhya. Barkha and Ankush are by his side. They inform Anuj that the police has found Aadhya's bag nearby a cliff and have also found a body resembling Aadhya. It is Ankush who then says that Aadhya is no more. Anuj Kapadia is in disbelief. He is shocked stating that it is not possible. Then we see Ankush getting Anuj Kapadia to sign a few documents. He does not check what the papers are about. Post the leap, fans see Anuj in a completely disturbed state. He is not the business tycoon anymore that everyone looked upto. He believes that Aadhya is dead and his life has completely fallen apart. So did Barkha and Ankush use the Aadhya situation to take over Anuj Kapadia's business? Did they rob him of everything that he had? Some fans feel that Ankush got Anuj to falsely sign the power of attorney.
