Average Time to Get GST Registration is 12.82 Days

Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary informed Lok Sabha that tax authorities take an average of 12.82 days to approve GST registration, which should ideally be done within 7 working days if Aadhaar authentication is completed. If additional information is required, registration must be granted within 7 days of providing the necessary documentation.
