Blake Lively Thanks Taylor Swift for 'Honoring My Guy' Ryan Reynolds with Sweet “Deadpool & Wolverine” Praise

The actress also shouted out her friend's 14 Grammy awards and sold-out Eras Tour

Blake Lively is spreading the social media love.

The It Ends With Us star recently reposted Taylor Swift's Instagram Story, where the singer praised Deadpool & Wolverine, which stars Lively's husband Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

"Thank you @taylorswift for honoring my guy(s)," Lively, 36, wrote. "I couldn't have said it better myself."

"Which is unsurprising given that I have 14 less grammys and not a single sold out stadium world tour," she added, referring to Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour.

On July 25, Swift, 34, posted a picture of her, Lively, Reynolds, 47, Jackman, 55, and Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy, celebrating the movie.

"Over the past few years I have watched one of my best friends on this planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film," Swift wrote.

"He's created the best work of his life, and this film feels like an actual joy portal, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich," she added. "I don't know how he did it."

"But that's just Hugh for you!" she continued, cheekily referring to the Deadpool & Wolverine star's longstanding "feud." Swift also joked that the other friends pictured "crashed the photo" and she was "too polite to ask them to leave. ????"

Reynolds previously told PEOPLE about Jackman's work, praising his friend for his "sheer relentlessness" on set.

"I couldn't believe what I saw with what you did physically for this movie," Reynolds said in May.

"Not just the aesthetic transformation. That's amazing. That's incredible that anyone could do that. But just the sheer relentlessness that you dedicated yourself towards stunts and choreography."

In her Instagram Story from July 25, Swift also mentioned that she is the godmother of Lively and Reynolds' children. "Shout out to Wade Wilson, aka my godkids' sperm donor!" she concluded her heartfelt post, referring to Reynolds' Deadpool character's alter-ego.

Reynolds and Lively are parents to daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty 4, along with Olin, who they welcomed in February 2023. The sex of Olin has yet to be revealed by the couple.

Deadpool & Wolverine is now in theaters.
