If you’ve got a nut allergy, stay well away from Brooklyn Beckham’s kitchen.
The budding chef has been cooking again, this time making a drink for his wife, Nicola Peltz.
Having recorded the process, though, Brooklyn was soon inundated with criticism and mocked relentlessly in the comments by his Instagram followers – oh dear.
‘Today, I’m making almond milk for my Mrs’, he said before getting to work.
The 25-year-old former photographer, of course, poured a lot of love into the recipe, as he followed through with all parts meticulously – but he also added a lot of almonds, not to mention cinnamon and vanilla extract.
In the video, Brooklyn is seen filling a large glass jar with skin-on almonds and water, which he then leaves to sit in the fridge.
After the almonds soften, he blends them into a paste, which is used for the fresh milk.
Brooklyn continues to squeeze more milk into a new jar, filling it from a milk-soaked napkin.
He finishes off by topping with cinnamon and vanilla, an addition that left many of his followers puzzled.
‘That amount of vanilla and cinnamon is diabolical’, commented Instagram user omgadelina.
‘Ummmm we’re all like that’s too much vanilla right???’, wrote herberts_mom.
‘Bruh that much vanilla extract could kill a man’, added johnnybrock_hb.
Liannehey also noted that Brooklyn used ‘about a tenners worth of almonds for a glass of milk’, while lycaenidae_blue accused him of ‘wasting’.
It wasn’t all bad, though, as Brooklyn’s wife, 29, was on hand to share some love.
Actress Nicola commented: ‘obsessed ????????’
She later reposted the video on her Instagram Story, adding that the drink is her ‘absolute favourite’ and Brooklyn makes it for her ‘every day’.
Dad David Beckham also gave the creation his stamp of approval, writing: ‘Love this can u make me some ????’
Brooklyn’s culinary skills have been trolled online time and time again.
We’ve seen him make pasta inside a whole cheese wheel, drown his chicken in avocado oil, and make burgers that prompted fans to ask if McDonald’s was hiring.
One thing’s for certain, though, and it’s that nepo baby Brooklyn is going to continue being Brooklyn.
Brooklyn’s career has taken many different directions in a short space of time. He firstly tried to follow his dad’s footsteps by pursuing football, but dropped out of Arsenal academy aged 15 after realising it would be ‘difficult’ to emulate his father’s success on the pitch.
After this, he published his infamous photography book and modelled in front of the camera himself numerous times, before turning his hand to cooking last year.
Responding to critics of his ever-changing occupation, Brooklyn had a totally unbothered attitude telling Insider that he ‘works [his] bum off’.
He said: ‘To be honest, I’m used to the hate. It doesn’t really bother me. Cooking makes me happy.
‘I have more important things to worry about than people saying a little bit of rubbish about me… I’m doing my thing and working my bum off.’
When asked to give a message to his haters, Brooklyn replied defiantly: ‘My message to them is to keep writing whatever they want to write. There are always going to be people out there who try and pull you down.
‘I’m doing my thing and working my bum off. So they can keep writing what they want, but it’s not going to bother me — I’m just going to keep doing my thing.’
