City rollers: London’s flourishing skating scene – in pictures

This month London hosted Roll On London, one of the biggest roller-skating events in the European calendar. Since stumbling across ‘jam’ skaters at his local park in 2021, the photographer Roland Ramanan has embedded himself in the scene, following enthusiasts to various venues, their homes and Barcelona.

His project has a fast-growing Instagram account, where Ramanan interviews skaters and shares their portraits.
