Delhi University: Professors fear students' right to 'choose' subjects in 4-year UG course may get revoked

The Delhi University Executive Council is set to decide Saturday on whether students in the 4-year UG program can choose their subjects for the minor degree course. The agenda proposes making specific subjects mandatory in the syllabi for students to qualify for the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS). This has brought forth some critical concerns, dividing the institution’s faculty members.
