One Texas groom had a hilarious wardrobe malfunction on his big day!

After Danielle Darvin and Connor Depew were pronounced husband and wife, they happily walked back down the aisle at Knotting Hill Place in Texas, at their June 1st wedding. Just as they reached the end, Depew glanced down and gasped — he realized his fly had been undone throughout the entire ceremony.

In that moment, Depew, a 25-year-old firefighter, turned to his wife and confessed what had happened.

"Oh my God. My fly was unzipped that whole time," he can be seen telling Darvin in the TikTok as she responds, "No it was not, no it was not."

Darvin, who works in social media for the NBA tells PEOPLE, "Sure enough, when he assured me twice, I was in shock. I couldn't help but laugh along with Connor at that point."

"If you know Connor, this is a very 'Connor' thing to do," she adds. "He tends to chuckle when he knows he's guilty, and that chuckle is infectious and makes me laugh things off too."

The newlyweds, who live in Austin, Texas, went on to celebrate at their reception and forgot about the situation. It wasn't until a few weeks later, when they reviewed their wedding videos, that they discovered their videographer's microphone had captured the hilarious moment.

Darvin, appreciating the significance of candid moments, decided to share this humorous incident on TikTok, where it quickly went viral with 14.9 million views and over 2,000 comments.

"Luckily, our photographer mentioned she hadn't seen any issues with the photos, but she'll keep an eye out just in case," Darvin says.

"To our knowledge, no one else noticed, but a good friend and groomsman found that video clip, listened to it, and let us know he also had his fly down during the ceremony," she adds.

Darvin says she spent their two-year engagement meticulously planning every detail to ensure nothing would go wrong. Still, the unexpected is bound to happen at weddings.

Looking back, she says the hilarious moment perfectly encapsulates their relationship.

"I hope that brides who watch our video can find humor in any silly situations that may or may not occur on their big day," she says. "Regardless of what happens, they're marrying their best friend surrounded by loved ones, which makes it the most special and important day ever."

Though Darvin has no regrets from her wedding day, she did offer one lesson she hopes future brides take away from her experience.

"Have the groom wear black underwear that matches his suit, so you can't tell if his fly is accidentally left down!"
