Jaishankar discusses bilateral cooperation, issue of trafficking of Indian nationals with Laos PM

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with Laos Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone on Saturday to discuss various issues, including the trafficking of Indian nationals through cyber scam centres in Laos. Jaishankar is in the Laos People's Democratic Republic's capital to participate in the ASEAN meetings. Their discussion also covered development partnership and cooperation in sectors like defence and energy.
