Jimmy Fallon has unveiled his summer 2024 book club pick!

On Thursday, July 25, the talk show host, 49, revealed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that his book club, the Fallon Book Club, will be reading The God of the Woods by Liz Moore.

"We're all gonna read this book together," Fallon said, adding that he would share his reading progress on social media. Fans are encouraged to share their thoughts about the book using the hashtag #FallonBookClub.

Fallon announced the final round of voting for his book club earlier this week. Viewers could vote online from a selection of books, including, in addition to Moore's novel, Margo’s Got Money Troubles by Rufi Thorpe, The Last Murder at the End of the World by Stuart Turton, You Are Here by David Nicholls, I Was A Teenager Slasher by Stephen Graham Jones and The Paris Novel by Ruth Reichl.

Fallon launched his book club in 2018, and it is not exclusive to just summertime reading. Earlier this year, the book club returned in time for March Madness. Viewers voted for the book they wanted to read alongside Fallon in a bracket similar to the championship tournament. (Nightwatching by Tracy Sierra was the winner.)

On July 18, Fallon also celebrated his 2,000th episode of The Tonight Show, which he took over in 2014. The host was joined by announcer Steve Higgins and the show’s band, The Roots. He was also given a Tonight Show-inspired cake, topped with the show’s logo and the New York City skyline.
