Corruption commission chair Bruce Barbour says there has been no meaningful advancement despite ‘degree of urgency’

Queensland’s Crime and Corruption Commission boss has launched extraordinary criticism of the Miles government for stalling progress on a standalone body to prevent police investigating their own.

At an estimates parliamentary hearing on Friday, the CCC chairperson, Bruce Barbour, said there had been no concrete progress on the establishment of a police integrity unit.
