Snoop Dogg carried the Olympic torch through the Paris suburbs ahead of the 2024 Paris Games opening ceremony on 26 July 2024. The hip-hop superstar carried the flame on a leg in Saint Denis near the Stade de France where events including athletics will take place during the games. He carried the torch to represent the next Olympic host, his home city of Los Angeles. The Paris 2024 Games will officially commence on Friday evening, when 10,000 athletes gathered on boats on the Seine River for the grand opening ceremony. Snoop Dogg, born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, was dressed in all white. He will also contribute to U.S. network NBC's coverage of the Olympics.
