Tom Daley is arguably as famous for his knitting as he is for his diving – and his crafting skills came in handy when he wanted to give Noah Williams an X-rated gift.
The duo are currently in Paris, representing Great Britain in the 2024 Olympics after months of rigorous training.
Tom, 30, and Noah, 24, have grown incredibly close in the time they’ve been diving together, after Tom’s former partner, Matty Lee, 26, had to withdraw due to ongoing spinal surgery.
Giving fans an insight into their friendship, the pair answered questions on Tom’s YouTube channel, which included Noah discussing his decision to cash in on Olympic fame by joining OnlyFans.

During the candid chat about the Olympics and their personal lives, Noah addressed the cheeky birthday present Tom gave to him on his 21st.
‘How did you know what size c**k sock to make Noah?’, the fan asked.
With an equally as risqué answer, Tom replied: ‘I basically… I go by the one-size-fits-most rule.’
Noah continued with a follow-up: ‘The other part of that question is, are you surprised I’ve actually worn it a few times?’
Shrugging, playing it cool, Tom responded: ‘No, I’m not.’
He even went on to joke: ‘I think you actually posted a photo on your OnlyFans.’
It was then that Noah revealed he sent said photo directly to diving pal Tom, with the Olympian retorting: ‘It’s nice that they’re actually used.
‘Most of the time people use it as a little novelty thing that never actually gets used.’
Elsewhere in the Q&A, one fan asked if Noah was Tom’s ‘type’.
Tom, who is happily married to husband Dustin Lance Black, replied by describing what his other half looks like.
‘I like broad shoulders. I like a swimmer’s physique.
‘Because that was what drew me to Lance in the first place, the fact he was so wide at the top and then narrow.’
After coming out as gay, Tom married the filmmaker, in 2017.
The pair first met at a dinner party in Los Angeles back in 2013 and share a 20-year age gap.
Tom being 30 and Dustin being 50 doesn’t bother either of them, though, as Tom previously stated: ‘One thing I learned early on is not care what other people think.’
The pair also share two sons, Robbie and Phoenix, who were present to cheer their dad on when he took home a silver medal alongside Noah today.
Coming second behind China in the men’s synchronised 10metre dive, the teammates were on cloud nine, with Noah pecking his pal on the cheek as they held up their silver gongs.
Paris is Tom’s fifth games, with the diver having also won a gold and three bronzes over his Olympic career.
His screenwriter husband was also in the stands of the Aquatics Centre and expressed his pride after the results were revealed.
In a story on Instagram, Dustin reposted a video of him and his children cheering for Daley, as the athlete stood on the podium, and wrote: ‘An incredible day of dreams coming true.
‘So many tears of joy!
‘You have a complete set of medals now, my love!’
Ahead of the games, Dustin shared a post on the same social media site in which he said their eldest son Robbie told his parents over a year ago how he wished he could watch his ‘papa’ dive in the Olympics in person.
He said in the post: ‘It’s been a little over 16 months since our eldest son, Robbie, shared with Tom that he wished he could watch his Papa dive in the Olympics in person.
‘Yesterday Tom kissed our boys goodbye before entering the Paris 2024 Olympic Village.
‘Today I took our boys to see the Eiffel Tower in this, one of my favourite cities in the world.
‘We are so proud of Tom for all of the sacrifices and incredibly hard work he’s put in to get to his 5th Olympics and to make Robbie’s wish come true!’
Tom also reflected on how ‘special’ it was to compete in front of his family after his son asked to see him dive.
He told the BBC: ‘This time last year deciding to come back, not knowing whether I would make the synchro team let alone qualify for a spot for the Olympics, and now to be here in Paris diving in front of my son, who’s just right there, who actually asked me to come back, is just so special.’
Tom added: ‘My husband has been there for me for this whole year and he has really taken the reins with the kids when I’ve had to travel and stuff and it’s just so special that we get to enjoy this moment together.’
