Daley and his husband Dustin Lance Black are parents to sons Robert "Robbie" Ray and Phoenix Rose
Tom Daley's kids are making a core memory.
On Monday, July 29, the Olympic diver's screenwriter husband Dustin Lance Black was interviewed by BBC Sport after watching Daley, 30, take home the silver medal in the men’s synchronized 10-meter platform at the Paris Aquatics Center while at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
As he proudly looked on, Black, 50, said it was an important moment for the couple's kids, too.
"I’ve seen the amount of work and love that he put into it this time. It was at a different level. And I know it’s cause of these guys and them getting to see him dive today was so special already, just arriving here," Black said.

"And the fact that he just won the one medal he’s never won before. My God, what a day. What a day. It’s very moving for family because we see the hard work and dedication that goes into making it look effortless and it’s what he and Noah did today. So we’re so proud," Black said of Daley and his diving partner Noah Williams.
The medal marks a poignant moment for Daley, as this will likely be his final Olympic event ever after he recently returned from retirement to compete one last time.
Daley and Black share two sons: Robert "Robbie" Ray, 6, and Phoenix Rose, whom they welcomed in March 2023.
The couple began dating in 2013 and married in May 2017 at Bovey Castle in Devon, England, about 30 miles from Plymouth, Daley's hometown.
In a joint interview with Out in 2016, Daley and Black said it was "love at first sight" between them, and that they both wanted kids.
"We were so busy making all these plans — we both wanted to have children; we both wanted to build a home of our own someday," Black revealed to the magazine at the time.
In April 2023, Daley and Black shared that they'd welcomed their second baby together on Instagram. In one sweet photo shared by Daley, the Olympic diver held baby Phoenix while Black and son Robbie looked on with smiles. Daley also added a cute shot holding the infant, who wore an adorable blue knit sweater with a heart on the back.
"???? PHOENIX ROSE BLACK-DALEY ???? Our family has grown in the last week, we welcomed Phoenix to the world on 28/03/23 and he's just perfect ???? Robbie is loving being a BIG BRO! ????????????????," Daley wrote.
